Thank you very much for your Membership to the National Oil & Acrylic Painters' Society. We appreciate your art and your support of NOAPS and in return are committed to support and promote your art. NOAPS organizes many events, among them, the Best of America competition, one of the most prestigious exhibitions in North America since 1991.

 

NOAPS is a registered 501(c) (3) not-for-profit organization, and your membership may be tax deductible. Consult your tax advisor.

 

IMPORTANT: You should have received an email after submitting payment providing you with a link to your Member Profile on the NOAPS website along with your ID and temporary password to sign in.  Once you have logged in you will be able to change the password if so desired.  Your profile is where you can make any address changes, see your payment history, add artwork images, or see when your next renewal date will be.

Please note that should your active membership lapse for non-payment you would continue to be able to log into your NOAPS profile.  However, your profile would not show up in the NOAPS online Directory, you would not have access to member only pages on the NOAPS website, nor would you be able to enter any NOAPS shows requiring Active Membership.  If after a lapse of time you choose to become an Active Member again your profile would reappear in the Directory and all rights and privileges of Active Membership would be re-established. 

 

Being an Active Member gives you the benefit to enter all our exhibitions.  You may download the NOAPS logo below and as a NOAPS Member you may use it in your correspondence, social media and website.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR 2024 – All shows will be announced via email and on the NOAPS website.

• See our past exhibitions. They are displayed on our website from 2004 to 2023. 

• SPRING AND FALL ONLINE INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITS - These are true international exhibits attracting artists from all over the world. Our past Online International Exhibits show on our website since 2013.  See Past Exhibitions

• Our Spring 'BEST OF AMERICA' SMALL WORKS INTERNATIONAL JURIED EXHIBITIONS are reserved for small paintings 320 square inches or less. This is a gallery exhibition and the first one was in 2018. Cash and sponsor awards exceed $25,000.   The 2024 exhibition will be hosted by Sugarman Peterson Gallery, Santa Fe, NM from July 5 to July 31, 2024. Entries will open February 14, 2024.

• The ASSOCIATE ONLINE EXHIBITION is reserved for NOAPS members that have not achieved Signature or Master status and it gives the opportunity for all our associate members to showcase one painting on our website. Cash awards are approximately $5000 and the top three awards receive one point towards Signature artist.  Entries for the 2023 show will open April 15, 2024.

• Our Fall 'BEST OF AMERICA' INTERNATIONAL JURIED EXHIBITION started in 1991 and it is considered one of the most prestigious exhibitions in North America with awards totaling more than $35,000. Best of Show is $5,000 in cash. This year NOAPS will hold the 34th ‘Best of America’ International JURIED EXHIBITION hosted by Beverly McNeil Gallery in Birmingham, AL from August 11 through September 10, 2024.  Entries for the 2024 show will open March 6, 2024.
