One component of the NOAPS Mission Statement is the following:

NOAPS supports artists around the world in striving for artistic excellence by recognizing great art, enriching education, enhancing skills, challenging abilities and expanding marketing opportunities.

In pursuing the mission of enriching education NOAPS offers a scholarship program open to Associate Members to attend workshops or art classes.

                         

Description of Program

Successful applicants may be granted up to $500 to attend a workshop or class.  The money would be paid directly to the class or workshop provider.  NOAPS will grant two scholarships per year, one in the first quarter of the year, and one in the third quarter of the year.  

 

Eligibility

• Open to Associate Members who are current in their annual dues

• Must have been an NOAPS member for three years or more

• Must have entered at least one NOAPS onsite gallery show

Procedure

• Complete the application form found HERE

• Application must be received at least 60 days before the workshop or class

• Email the completed application to karolynk@aol.com

• Attend the workshop or class

• At the conclusion of the class or workshop submit a summary of what was learned.  This summary should be emailed to karolynk@aol.com
